The Challenge
Numerous communities in Sri Lanka face significant challenges, including limited access to quality education, economic instability, and the urgent need for wildlife and environmental conservation. Many underprivileged families, particularly in rural areas, struggle to break free from cycles of poverty, while women and children often lack the resources and opportunities to thrive. Deforestation, pollution, and habitat loss also threaten Sri Lanka’s rich biodiversity, further exacerbating the socio-environmental crisis.
The Solution
Through the Centennial Foundation’s initiatives, we aim to empower Sri Lankan communities by:
- Providing underprivileged children access to education and literacy programs to foster a brighter future.
- Launching women’s empowerment initiatives that equip them with skills and resources to become community leaders.
